I've been interested in VIA's ITX-cards for a long time now, primarily for their energy efficiency. Until recently i haven't found a suitable board for my needs, which is a fileserver with gigabit connection and a tv-recieving mediacenter. This autumn VIA released their EPIA M700 which seems to suite my purpose. I decided to give it a shot and since there isn't much out there to read about this card, I decided to post my experiences here.
I ordeded the following hardware:
Mainboard: VIA EPIA-M700-10E
Memory: 2GBCrucial DDR2 PC5300
HDD: 1TB Samsung SATA2
Chassis: Silverstone Lascala LC06 60W
PCI-Riser: VIA 2-slot
TV-Card: TechnoTrend TT-budget C-1501
Lets see how it will fit together :-)
